When you arrive at the Piazza Stazione, just behind the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella, we'll give you your tickets and audio guide in English. From then on, you'll be free to explore this impressive architectural complex of Florence at your own pace. Ready to delve into one of the symbols of the capital of Tuscany?

Once inside, you'll begin to discover the secrets of the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella, a true jewel of Florentine Gothic and Renaissance art. Its construction began in the 13th century, and was completed with the spectacular façade that can be seen today. Did you know that the latter was designed by the famous architect Leon Battista Alberti in the 15th century? It was undoubtedly a landmark of Renaissance architecture. This temple is not only a place of worship, but also a veritable museum.

In its interior, you'll marvel at masterpieces that marked a before and after in the history of art. You can admire Masaccio's impressive Holy Trinity, considered one of the first works to use linear perspective.

You'll also admire the frescoes by Domenico Ghirlandaio in the Tornabuoni Chapel, which narrate the life of the Virgin and Saint John the Baptist with astonishing realism. Another piece not to be missed is Brunelleschi's Crucifix, a work that demonstrates his sculptural genius.

The visit also includes access to the cloisters, such as the Green Cloister, famous for its frescoes by Paolo Uccello, or the Cloister of the Dead, which evokes the earliest history of the convent. You'll also discover the Chapel of the Spaniards, with its cycle of frescoes narrating the history of the Dominican order. You'll be fascinated!
