The activity was generally good, but the time was too tight, as it was either eat or see the lakes, both impossible. The visit to Cangas was also very quick, as was the visit to Lastres. Ana, the guide, initially gave the few instructions she gave us in English and then in Spanish. We had paid for a tour in Spanish, not bilingual, and even though I understood her perfectly, she elaborated more on the explanations to them than to us. She should shorten the tour and change the guide.

Translate this opinion into English.

An unforgettable experience. The Covadonga Lakes take your breath away the moment you arrive. The route is well-organized, with plenty of time to enjoy the views and take photos. Cangas de Onís is charming, with its historic bridge. And Lastres looks like a picture postcard, with its white houses and the sea in the background. Our guide, Dani, was very friendly and shared interesting facts that aren't in the guidebooks. Highly recommended. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Cristina and Enrique's work was impeccable. Perhaps they could increase the time allotted for the Basilica and the Virgin of Covadonga; it's far too short. And they could add some guidelines for bus seating; some passengers don't seem to know basic rules of etiquette and it seems necessary to teach them. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

The excursion was very good. My only personal complaint would be the short time spent in Lastres, barely 15 minutes, which wasn't enough time to see much. I think with so little time, it's almost better not to visit it at all. Otherwise, it was excellent; the sites are beautiful, and despite being a large group, the excursion was very well organized.

For what was supposed to be a long excursion, we didn't see much. The only highlights were the lakes, Lastres (10 minutes), Cangas for lunch and then we rushed off, and the basilica and cave took 45 minutes. I understand this was due to the time we had to access the lakes, which was 3 pm. This made the whole thing pointless, and we had to go to the basilica in the morning, go down to Cangas, and then back up again. We wasted a lot of time on the bus, and I also don't understand the half-hour stop at the service area.

The activity is very nice but could be improved. Considering that Covadonga is a marvel, I think the time allotted is too short. We had to rush to see the basilica and the cave, and it's a shame to have to see it in such a hurry. I know that the aim is to see many things in one day, but sometimes... less is more. I would eliminate Lastres and lengthen the time in Covadonga. The guide, Ernesto, explained everything very well. Opinion translated. Show original.

What they showed us of Lastres after going down some horrible cobblestones wasn't worth it; it would have been better not to stop. What I found really awful was that they left two elderly people stranded in Cocadonga; they could have at least waited 5 minutes or notified them.

Translate this opinion into English.

Overall, we really enjoyed the activity, especially Covadonga and the lakes. We visited the other towns quickly with the guide (Rosa), so we didn't enjoy them as much. As for the explanations, they were correct (a bit brief on some occasions) but we missed a bit more dynamism. Although it is not emphasized, we recommend arriving at the pickup point 15 minutes early to avoid any unpleasantness. In summary, some aspects could be improved, but the activity is worth doing. Recomiendo esta experiencia al 100% Translate this opinion into English.

Overall, it was good, but the guide could have been more precise in explaining the route to the lakes. My mother didn't see them because she was afraid it would be too much of an uphill climb, and after going up and down myself, I saw that I could have easily done it. But when we asked, he just told us it was all uphill, and that was it. On the other hand, the stop in Lastres was something I thought was special about this excursion, to also see the coast. However, we were only there for 25 minutes, which wasn't nearly enough time to see anything.

Translate this opinion into English.

We really enjoyed the excursion; it was well-organized, and our guide, Santiago, was very pleasant and friendly. He explained many things about Asturias, its customs, and its history. It's a shame the weather didn't cooperate during our visit to the Lakes—fog and rain—so we couldn't enjoy the views. But that's beyond their control; we just had bad weather. Despite everything, we had a great time. Highly recommended! Opinion translated. Show original.

The truth is that it was good. But I think they should provide estimated return times. We had to stay an extra night and it's hard to find accommodation at the last minute. I had no idea that the tour would end at 7:00 PM. I usually hire guides through the same channel and they always mention the estimated time.

Translate this opinion into English.

The activity was fantastic; both Regina and José, the driver, were excellent. The only downside was that we were running late and would have liked to have spent more time in Lastres. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

The weather wasn't great. The fog obscured the lakes. On the other hand, there wasn't enough time for a proper lunch. However, both the guide and the driver were superb; the guide made the trip very enjoyable, and the driver needs to be skilled behind the wheel to avoid going off the road. I didn't give it an excellent rating for the first two reasons. Opinion translated. Show original.

Gracias Translate this opinion into English.

The activity was excellent, very well led by our friendly guide Santiago, who gave a very good explanation. I'd like to take this opportunity to suggest that when assigning seats on the car, the first seats be given to the older passengers, so they can get in and out more easily. Thank you. The entire excursion was wonderful. Our guide, David, was always willing to help us with anything we needed, and he provided excellent information throughout the activity. Special mention must be made of the bus driver, Juan Carlos, who ensured we arrived safely at all our destinations (even if it meant dodging cows, cyclists, and other vehicles in the middle of the road to the Lakes of Covadonga—he was a true gentleman).
