The Glasgow sightseeing bus has the following routes:

Red route: a route of 80 minutes with 24 stops. Some of the most interesting stops on the route are: George Square, the Glasgow Cathedral, Merchant City, The Barras, Glasgow Green, St Andrew's Cathedral, the Central Station, the Riverside Museum, the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, and Nelson Mandela Place.

How Does It Work?

You can choose between 2 types of ticket: the 24-hour ticket and the 48-hour ticket.

During this time, you can hop on and off the buses as many times as you like to discover places such as George Square, Glasgow University, Pollok Park, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Kelvin Park.

Additional Info

Please note that although when you book you'll be asked to select a start day, you can avail of the service at any time within 12 months from the selected date. You'll be sent a voucher by email, which you must print and show on the first bus you take.

Schedule & Frequency

The sightseeing bus of Glasgow operates every day of the year (except on December 25, December 26, and January 1) at the following times and frequencies:

May 22 to June 25: 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, every 20 minutes
June 26 to August 30: 9 am to 5:30 pm, every 15 minutes
August 31 to September 28: 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, every 20 minutes
From September 29: 10 am to 4 pm, every 30 minutes

The first and last departure will always be from stop 1.

Family Ticket

A family ticket is available for 2 adults and 3 children aged 5 to 15.
