Go hiking in Prainha and take a day trip to Grumari on this activity from Rio de Janeiro. We'll leave the city behind for the day and explore paradisiacal beaches and lush greenery. Let's go!

Prainha Hike & Grumari Day Trip

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to the western part of the city. One of the best-conserved natural areas in Rio de Janeiro awaits!

During the trip along the coast of Rio de Janeiro, we'll pass by 5 of its most important western beaches. These beaches are São Conrrado, Barra, Reserva, Recreio and Macumba. From the vehicle, you'll be able to see beautiful views of these beaches.

After admiring these paradisical spots, we'll come to a small beach in the Conservation Area of Rio de Janeiro. This would be Prainha, the favourite spot of many Brazilian surfers. We'll hike through the Atlantic Forest until we reach the Caeté Viewpoint, which towers at an altitude of 623 feet (190 metres).

Once you've taken lots of photos of Rio de Janeiro's coastline and mountains, we'll head to Grumari, another protected area. When we get there, you'll be able to take a dip at its white sandy beach, which is surrounded by rainforest.

Having spent 3 hours in Grumari, we'll return to your hotel in Rio de Janeiro. We'll drop you off 9 hours after pickup.

Hotel Pickup

This day trip includes pick up from hotels in the following parts of Rio de Janeiro: Gloria, Santa Teresa, Catete, Flamengo, Praia de Botafogo, Leme, Copacabana, Ipanema or Leblon. If your accommodation is located outside these areas, we'll let you know which hotel is closest to the meeting point.
